Make some time

Join us on the first and second Saturday of each month for a facilitated, two-hour creative session at the Museum.

Kiranjot Kaur’s workshop was connected to her installation The Hands That Braid, presented alongside Haq & History in 2025.

Each month introduces a different project, material or technique, with someone there to get you started and offer guidance along the way. Come to try something unfamiliar, return to something you enjoy, or simply make some time to work with your hands.

Saturday Studio is open to all ages and experience levels. No previous art experience is needed, and materials are provided.

Pride, Memory & the Historical Record

Look beyond the idea of the Archives as simply a place where the past is kept. Through the Chilliwack Pride Society fonds and recently collected materials, consider how the records we collect today shape the stories that can be told tomorrow.
